MediaTek has announced the presence of its newest chipset, the Helio P70 which is the next generation of Helio P60which received a positive response from a number of global smartphone manufacturers. Now the news circulates, Realme, which is a sub-brand of OPPO, is interested in adopting Helio P70.
If this rumor is true, of course Realme will be the first global smartphone manufacturer to pack its device with the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset . Unfortunately, this has not been confirmed directly by Realme .
Until now, Realme has produced Realme 2 , Reality 2 Pro and Reality C1 . All three of these smartphones have been equipped with Qualcomm chipsets. Realme 2 and Realme C1 come with the Snapdragon 450 chipset , while Realme 2 Pro already uses Snapdragon 660 .
Of course the steps taken by Realme to adopt the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset will be interesting. In addition, this is also a fresh breeze for MediaTek that the innovations they offer are starting to be seen by many smartphone manufacturers.
MediaTek’s Helio P70 is 100MHz faster than Helio P60’s clock speed. The speed itself can be obtained from the four large core Cortex-A73 and also the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. MediaTek also claims that Helio P70 has an AI performance of 10 percent to 30 percent faster.
In addition, the chipset that is produced through 12nm process technology also supports better camera hardware, for example, can make bokeh at 24fps. This chipset is also claimed by MediaTek to have more sophisticated power-saving features.
Unfortunately until now there is no information that presents in real time the Helio P70 test. However, taking into account the performance of the P60, the Realme smartphone should use the latest chipset a little faster than the Realme 2 Pro powered by Snapdragon 660.
