Dare to compete is one of the best ways to be done by all Chinese smartphone manufacturers, not to mention Meizu. Not only that, they are also challenged to present a device that is preferred by many consumers, but offered at a price that does not drain pockets alias competitive.

Related to that, Meizu must deal directly with his competitors who have been more successful, such as Xiaomi, OPPO and Vivo. To answer these challenges, Meizu will hit the Chinese smartphone market by presenting Meizu 16.

Not only has a design that reportedly will be made more interesting than its predecessor version, Meizu 16 also mentioned will be sold at a fairly competitive price. This is also confirmed directly by Jack Wong who is also known as Huang Zhang, CEO of Meizu.

In front of the Meizu community, Wong was asked whether the highest price of Meizu 16 will be sold over 4,000 yuan (about Rp 8 million). He implicitly said that the price of 4,000 yuan would be more than enough to get Meizu 16 and it’s very competitive for devices like this.

To note, Meizu 16 has been confirmed as a smartphone that will be equipped Snapdragon 845 Octa-core. As we know, Qualcomm’s chipset is still the best in the Android smartphone industry and the device that adopts this chipset is usually sold for no more than 4,000 Yuan in China.

Just for example, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S with 6 GB RAM configuration is priced at 3299 Yuan. Meanwhile, OnePlus 6 which has a configuration of 8 GB + ROM 256 RAM priced at 3899 Yuan. So considering 4,000 Yuan for the Meizu 16 highest variants, you could say Meizu able to present a very competitive device.

Another attraction, Meizu 16 is also touted to come with a screen that has an aspect ratio of 18: 9. In addition, it is estimated that this smartphone will also offer a fingerprint scanner inside the screen to minimize the bezel. Other forecasts, Meizu 16 will appear in August 2018. What do you think?
