Meizu earlier this month introduced the Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus . In fact, DroidLime also had the opportunity to experience the aura of launching the two smartphones in Beijing, China. Yes! Both were placed by Meizu as their flagship smartphone.

Meizu now again made a surprise. Through its CEO, Jack Wang once said that Meizu was working on a middle-class model of the Meizu 16, namely Meizu 16X . In addition, Wang also revealed that Meizu was working on the Meizu X8 .

Not only just revealed, Wang also began to dare to provide some leaks regarding the design and specifications of Meizu 16X. Yes! Of course this reminds us, how Wang also did the same when he gave the Meizu 16 leak before the device was introduced.

In terms of design, Wang said that the Meizu 16X will not be much different from the Meizu 16. In addition, this smartphone is also expected to arrive in September 2018 and in it will have a Snapdragon 710 chipset made by Qualcomm.

In addition, Wang also explained the 16X screen parameters. The CEO revealed that the Meizu 16X would not have a bangs screen and would use Super AMOLED technology as widely used by Samsung.

When it was mentioned why Wang was not interested in making the Meizu 16X with a bangs screen, he only emphasized that smartphones with bangs were the future. But it’s not easy to get supplies on time.

Yes! Wang does have different thoughts. In fact, he said that the bangs adopted by OPPO R17 and pop-up designs like the one on OPPO Find X and Vivo NEX were not future design features. Right or not Wang’s statement, of course the time will answer.

Back to Meizu 16X, Wang also said that this smartphone will be supported by a camera that is lower than the Meizu 16. But interestingly enough, Wang also said that the Meizu 16X will be equipped with a large capacity battery . Surely bigger than the battery in Meizu 16.
