Earlier this year Samsung released Galaxy S9 and S9 + . Unfortunately in terms of sales, these two smartphones are said to be unsatisfactory. Then in August 2018, Samsung released the Galaxy Note 9 and the arrival of this smartphone was highly anticipated by many gadget lovers.

Well! At the beginning of next year, Samsung has also prepared successors of Galaxy S9 and S9 +. Will be introduced on the sidelines of the MWC 2019 event in Barcelona, Samsung will release the Galaxy S10 . Of course, Samsung will immerse a lot of improvements into this smartphone.

But before releasing the Galaxy S10, Samsung will first launch its first folding smartphone. As confirmed by DJ Koh as CEO of Samsung when talking exclusively with CNBC recently that Samsung will launch a folding smartphone in November 2018 .

In November 2018 itself, Samsung will indeed hold an event titled  Samsung Developer Conference . The event itself will be held in San Francisco, United States for two days, from 7 to 8 November 2018.

Furthermore Koh also said that until now Samsung had not succeeded in completing the development of the device. It is said, this device is far more complicated than smartphones in general. But he assured that this folding smartphone was almost complete.

Foldable mobile phone is expected to be called the Samsung Galaxy X or Galaxy F . But Koh did not confirm the name for the device itself. He also said that Samsung is trying to prepare several applications and other supporting features.

So why is Samsung so confident about making folding smartphones? Answered by Koh, Samsung made a device like this certainly to answer consumer demand. Samsung itself has held a survey and the results, not a few consumers who asked Samsung to make a folding smartphone.
