Last May 2018 Xiaomi made a surprise by presenting Xiaomi Mi 8 . There are three models introduced, namely Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, and Mi 8 Explorer Edition . Mi 8 and Mi 8 Explorer Edition come with a Snapdragon 845 chipset, while Mi 8 SE only comes with Snapdragon 710.
The presence of the three Mi 8 models was positively welcomed by many gadget lovers. Xiaomi also claims that smartphone sales are also running smoothly. Seeing this, Xiaomi is currently rumored to be making Mi 8 Youth and Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition .
Unfortunately there is not much that can be extracted from these two smartphones. It’s just that Mi 8 Youth will come with 4GB / 64GB, 6GB / 64GB, and 6GB / 128GB configurations . The colors offered are three choices, namely Gold, Blue, and Space Gray.
While the Mi 8 Fingerprint Edition Screen will be available in two choices, namely 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 128GB . Likewise with the choice of colors, there are only Black and Gold. From the naming, it is very possible that this smartphone will have the ability of a fingerprint scanner such as the Mi 8 Explorer Edition.
As with Mi 8 SE, Mi 8 Youth is supposedly strong to be supported by Snapdragon 710. Unfortunately, the chipset that will be loaded into Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint is still mysterious. However, it is unlikely Xiaomi will still load the Snapdragon 845 into the smartphone.
So, when will these two smartphones slide? For that, Xiaomi is still shut up, as well as the estimated price. So we just wait for Xiaomi’s next move, rather than just speculating about the two smartphones.
But what is currently no less interesting to talk about in China is Xiaomi’s desire to present a smartphone worth CNY 2,000 or around Rp. 4.3 million. It could be that the smartphone is the Pocophone F1 which will be marketed in China.
