A few weeks ago the leak on the complete design of Huawei Mate 20 Pro appeared on the internet. Now the turn of the Mate 20 comes along. Unlike the “Pro” variant, the regular Mate 20 version probably has a 6.5-inch screen that only adopts IPS LCD technology.

As often revealed through several previous leaks, Mate 20 Pro will be packaged by Huawei with an AMOLED screen measuring 6.3 inches dual-edge. In addition, the bezel that is owned by both smartphones is also different. For regular models, the chin is slightly thinner.

The bezel on the left and right sides is also very thin. In addition, Mate 20 also has bangs like water droplets at the top which are home to the front camera and proximity sensor. Not surprisingly, this smartphone does not have 3D facial recognition technology like the one on Mate 20 Pro.

Shifting to the rear, the Mate 20 regular variants are identical to the Mate 20 Pro. It’s just that, Mate 20 has a fingerprint scanner, while the Mate 20 Pro gossip will be supported by an on-screen fingerprint scanner similar to OnePlus 6T.

The fingerprint scanner owned by Mate 20 is placed right under the main three camera module. Speaking of three embedded cameras, the gossip configuration is 20 MP as the main lens, 12 MP as a monochrome lens, and 8 MP as a wide-angle lens.

For the innards, Mate 20 will follow Mate 20 Pro, which is using the Kirin 980 chipset. The minimum RAM that is planted into this smartphone is 4 GB and is integrated with 64 GB of internal storage. For the highest unit, it will have 512GB of RAM + 8GB + ROM.

Along with the image leak that appears, on the European market it is expected that this smartphone will be marketed starting from € 750 or around Rp. 13 million. Huawei itself will only release Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro on October 16, 2018 in London.
