Some time ago ASUS announced that they had plans to introduce two new smartphones on October 17, 2018 in New Delhi, India. It is estimated that there will be two smartphones that will be introduced by ASUS in the event.
A report close to ASUS said that the Taiwanese manufacturer of technology devices would introduce the successor to the Zenfone Max Pro . There will be two models introduced, namely the regular variant and the “Lite” which is certainly oriented as a smartphone at an affordable price.
For other estimates, the two smartphones will be sold for less than INR 12,000 or around IDR 2.5 million . If the price offered by ASUS is correct, of course the presence of the smartphone aims to “interfere” with the low-end segment, where Chinese brands rule, such as OPPO and Xiaomi .
Still from the same source, the two smartphones from ASUS are suspected to come with the Snapdragon 400 Serieschipset . Yes! The chipset used is still similar to that of the Zenfone Max M1 which was never released in India.
Previously the news circulated that ASUS was currently focusing on working on Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2. Both even have EEC certification in Russia. Of course with the issuance of the certification, this indicates that both will soon be released.
As we know, the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Zenfone Max M1 which are also marketed in Indonesia received a positive response. Both are favored by many consumers because they come with jumbo battery support, which is 5,000 mAh for the Max Pro M1 and 4,000 mAh for the Max M1.
Hopefully, in the next Zenfone Max generation, ASUS wants to equip both devices with greater battery support. not only that, it is also hoped that this smartphone comes with a more current design, especially with the colors presented.
