First use Helio P70, Realme U1 for sale at IDR 2.5 million

After the leak got crowded on the internet, Realme kept its promise to release a new smartphone. Yes! Coming up with the name Realme U1, this might be the ultimate weapon Realme at the end of 2018 and this smartphone is staying up to pamper lovers of selfie photos.

Realme U1 comes with a front camera that has a 25 MP resolution that is placed in a spring-shaped bangs. The front camera itself has used a Sony-made sensor, the IMX576 with a pixel size of 0.9 μm.

The front of this smartphone is also dominated by a full screen that borrows from Realme 2 Pro. Yes! The screen panel is IPS LCD with a size of 6.3 inches and has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. Realme claims the smartphone screen-to-body ratio is 90.8 percent.

The screen of this smartphone is also protected with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 and the rear panel is made of acrylic with a special coating to look like glass. The advantages of acrylic are not easily broken and lighter than glass.

On the back is a dual MP 13 MP + 2 MP camera , like the one on Realme 2. Don’t expect to be able to make 4K video, even the rear camera doesn’t have FullHD video recording capabilities @ 60fps.

Well! For his brain, Realme U1 is the first cellphone to use the Helio P70 chipset . This SoC comes with four Cortex-A73 cores with a 2.1 GHz clock speed plus four Cortex-A53 cores with a 2.0 GHz clock speed.

The chipset installed in it has been loaded with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. There are two variants offered, namely 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM. Interestingly there is a special mocroSD card slot for data storage expansion.

Realme U1 still runs with the ColorOS 5.2 interface based on Android 8.1 Oreo. This smartphone is also equipped with a 3,500 mAh capacity battery that supports 10W charging via microUSB. Realme also inserts a 3.5 mm audio jack port.

Realme sold this smartphone for the first time on the Indian market. There are three color choices offered, namely Ambitious Black, Brave Blue and Fiery Gold. The GB 3/32 version sells for INR 11,999 or around Rp.2.5 million and the 4/64 variant sells for INR 14,999 or around Rp3 million .

Will Realme also bring Realme U1 to the Indonesian market? It is certain that this smartphone will also begin to swing in the Indonesian market starting in early December 2018. So we just wait for the price of the smartphone when it is sold in the country.
