One of the Android smartphones that is being talked about at this time, Google Pixel 3, is rumored to be back in trouble. Some users of Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL reported that their smartphones overheated when charged.
Yes, in this case there are some people, which means it only affects a small number of users. Even so, this remains Google’s concern because it is not just one person who is experiencing symptoms of the overheat.
The overheating problem on Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL initially arises when the smartphone is charged while being used at the same time. Several other people reported that the smartphone overheated when it was charged wirelessly while being used to watch videos.
When the smartphone’s temperature has started to rise, a warning notification appears on the screen shortly informing you that the smartphone is overheated. Then the system will turn off the smartphone automatically to reduce overheat.
One user who experienced the incident managed to get a replacement unit from Google. Luckily the replacement unit did not experience the same symptoms of overheat. Just for info, we currently have a Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL unit, but have not experienced overheating problems.
