As we have previously reported, LG has recently offered a new patent regarding the smartphone it developed. Yes! The patent is closely related to the front camera which will later be loaded in the screen aka selfie camera under display.
Well! Recently, Huawei also filed a patent similar to that proposed by LG. However, the patent proposed by Huawei is not related to the front camera, but the earpiece hole which will also be loaded on the screen.
Huawei itself submitted this patent to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) . Of course this patent was deliberately proposed by Huawei so that they could later create a smartphone with a wider screen and have a higher screen-to-body ratio.
But one thing is interesting, when the patent is related to the earpiece hole in the screen, not a few are wondering how Huawei will package the front camera. Of course, the answer to that question will be eagerly awaited by Huawei loyal lovers.
From the patent it was also revealed that Huawei did not seem to package the smartphone with a fingerprint scanner on the screen. Yes! Huawei still pinned a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device and placed parallel to the “house” from the rear camera.
Talking about the earpiece hole in the screen, of course the quality of the sound produced still needs to be proven. For example, the first Xiaomi Mi MIX, which was equipped with piezoelectric speakers and placed behind the screen, failed to produce a pleasant sound.
Therefore, until now there are still many smartphone manufacturers who pack their devices with earpiece and speaker holes in the form of a grill. Not only is it placed at the top, you can also find the speaker grille at the bottom of the device so that the sprayed sound can be heard more clearly.
