pointer size issues

Tried to adjust the pointer size under Accessibility/Display and all it does is start tiny and then about 2/3s the way up the slider it turns to a giant size...That is all it does. Nothing in between.

Huge or tiny...

Is this a bug in MacOS 26 or am I doing this wrong, or is there another method?

Works fine for me on 26.5, I get a smooth transition through normal to large.

Something wonky with your setup. I also get a smooth transition from tiny to "WTF, are you blind?" sized cursors.

I'll chime in too: MBA M2 on 26.5 and my pointer increases in size as I move the slider from left to right. There is no jump in size; it's a smooth transition across the range.

Does it show the same misbehavior when you're running in Safe Mode?

Starting up your Mac in safe mode may help you diagnose problems with your Mac.

If it works in Safe Mode, then the problem may lie with an externsion or app you have installed.

The only other thing that comes to mind is some kind of buggy interaction between Accessibility options, like screen zoom or one of the others that affects how things are drawn.

Finally, exactly which Mac and OS version is this happening on?
