There're enough issues with conda run and terminal that we cannot adopt it:

• Solution in this PR doesn't work for cases like New "conda run" method of running python file results in errors #18634 (comment) New "conda run" method of running python file results in errors #18634 (comment) where conda activate is sent by user via .bashrc or some other automated configuration.
• The running result of the program will flash when I use anaconda's Python interpreter #18645 blocked on Results flashes and disappear on using conda run & --no-capture-output conda/conda#11315 due to which output disappears.
• Code run via conda does not exit on interrupt #18700 which states processes created using conda run aren't automatically killed.

Hence going with #18661 which means we'll not be using conda run for running files in terminal for now.
