Who We Are<\/h3>

The NCWIT Counselors for Computing (C4C) program provides information and resources that help counselors become effective influencers and advocates for computing education. We bring people and programs together with professional development<\/a>, knowledge, and resources to give all students access to transformative computing careers.<\/p>

C4C envisions a world where every learner has the opportunity to develop the computing and tech skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. School counselors and those in student advising roles are, and will continue to be, key leaders in this transformation by ensuring that all students are informed, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential in computing and STEM. Through our programs and resources, C4C aims to build an engaged network of counselors who champion tech education and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Together, we’ll empower a generation of tech-savvy problem solvers, innovators, and leaders who will shape a brighter future for everyone.<\/span><\/p>

To make this vision a reality, C4C supports school counselors, career coaches, and educators \u2014 both formal and informal \u2014 in their roles as student advisers by empowering them to actively promote and expand computer science and technology education for all learners. We also provide them with the knowledge, resources, and networks they need to guide students toward developing the crucial computing skills and literacy that will help them succeed in the tech-driven world of the 21st century.<\/span><\/p>
