✨ A small moment of pride this week: Todoist got featured on a “What's new in Android” session during Google I/O alongside Spotify, WhatsApp, and Peloton as one of four apps prototyping the new Wear Widgets in Jetpack Glance alpha 🤩 Designing for a 1.5-inch round screen is brutally hard. It's not only about crafting concise and essential information, it's about understanding Material Design, adapting it, and designing the situation of a glance when the user needs it most. Huge shoutout to our designers and Android team for the patience it takes to make something this small feel this clear and always shipping the latest design language 🙌 #GoogleIO #WearOS Doist Todoist

As a working parent, is there any time quieter than solo airport time? ✨ #ad When you work from home, and you’re a parent, *and* you're about to disappear from your desk for a full week — it can feel really intense. My default response is a desire to wrap absolutely everything up before the trip. Which is actually quite… unrealistic. So this year, I decided to make the most of that magical airport time. Instead of trying to cram everything into the days before my trip, I created a Todoist label called "flight stuff" and moved a handful of tasks into it — things I could realistically knock off in transit. Not my whole to-do list. Just the stuff that doesn't need deep focus. I always like to get to the airport stupidly early — I need to check that the gate exists at least two hours before my flight. (I've never regretted this, btw.) So I knew I would have a lot of time. And “saving” all that stuff actually freed up a whole chunk of my time and brain space in the run-up to the trip. I had time to pack properly. I got extra time with my daughter. I worked mostly while waiting for my flight to board, and I did a little more during my layover. And I got through a lot! So the flight stuff label stays. And I'll definitely be dusting it off again for my next trip. It's a little hack, but I can't recommend this enough!

I can’t be the only one who loves going on vacation to work…🤔 #Ad When I feel organized, I have peace of mind. Even if it means I stay up for 48 hours working on my new setup, it feels worth it. It’s like a puzzle. For the last few years, I’ve been using Todoist to run my life, which is why I’ve partnered with Todoist to tell you how much it’s helped me manage a day job, side hustle, marriage, and finally a social life. These are my fav 3 features in Todoist: 1. Ramble: When you’re busy and out and about, Ramble lets you just blurt out everything you need to do. It then organizes your word salad into beautiful tasks. 2. Today vs Inbox Filter: The two most important steps of any productivity system are having an easy way to add tasks fast and a way to see what is due in the immediate future. Todoist lets you do both: the inbox lets you add tasks quickly with shortcuts, and you can sort all tasks by date, priority, and even work type. The today view lets you see all tasks due today across all projects and labels. 3. Calendar: I’m at the age where my friends tease me for sending a calendar invite just to hang out. I live by the mantra, if it’s not in the calendar, it’s not happening. Todoist integrates with your calendar so that all the tasks you have to do actually take up time on your cal. Look, I could talk about this all day, but I’d love to give you a chance to try it. Comment on the word Todoist, and I’ll personally send you a link to try it.

The leaders shaping what’s next aren’t all in the usual places — and that’s exactly the point. 🚀 Our 2026 Top CEOs to Watch list highlights 32 founders and executives building across emerging tech hubs, remote-first teams, and innovation ecosystems outside traditional coastal power centers. • One "quick" reply turns into three. An email thread pulls you in. You "quickly" help a coworker with something that turns into half your day. Then it's noon, you haven't started the thing you actually need to do, and the second coffee hasn't even happened yet (or the first). Naomi Liddell, our Brand & Content lead, has a fix for this: a recurring task she named "Start Work," and it's deceptively simple. Here's how it works: ✏️ Create a recurring daily task called "Start Work" ✏️ Add 3–5 admin subtasks (skimming team messages, checking your social inbox, working through emails) and spend just two minutes checking them. ✏️ Anything that needs more time gets its own task, its own time block, and its own place on your calendar (vs stealing your whole morning.) Give it a try this week. If you want to hear more from Naomi, she writes about practical tips and interesting topics like this every month in our newsletter. Link in the comments!

  • Our top 5 horror movies: 1. "Wait, I thought YOU were doing that?" 2. The unassigned Project task that's been "due tomorrow" for 3 weeks 3. The team brainstorm ideas... forever waiting to become actual tasks 4. "I'll just do that one task really quick" (Takes the rest of the day) 5. "I have a system" (47 browser tabs, 10 sticky notes, zero clarity)

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery,” or so they say, as Google copies Todoist's Ramble… down to the name. 😂 As I shared with the team, we made something so obviously cool that big tech had to copy. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last! It signals that we're doing something very right… And we'll just keep dishing out great taste and innovating. The one and only: https://lnkd.in/e4aahhc8
