Apple Mac Studio launched back in March, and now it appears that Apple is planning to release more versions of this new Mac.
According to a recent report, three new versions of Mac Studio are on the way, and developer Pierre Blazquez has spotted references to these new models.
Mac 14,5
Mac 14,6
Mac 14.8– Pierre Blazquez (@pierre_blzqz) 30 June 2022
As we can see from the tweet, these new models are listed as Mac14,5, Mac14,6 and Mac14,8 which were found in macOS.
Current Mac Studio models have model numbers of Mac13, 1, Mac13 and 2, and these models use high-end processors in the M1, M1 Max, and M1 Ultra range.
We believe these new models will use the high-end versions of the new M2 processor that has yet to be announced, likely the M2 Max and M2 Ultra.
We’re expecting a wide range of new Macs from Apple later this year and it’s possible we’ll see some new processor options for the Mac Studio lineup.
Apple has a lot of new hardware coming this year and this will be the last year it’s going from Intel-based processors in Macs to Apple’s silicon processors.
