Apple Vision Pro is available in stores in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates and is available to customers starting today. In addition, customers can now schedule a free 30-minute appointment to demonstrate the headphones at Apple Stores in both countries.
Apple has localized the Vision Pro page in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, providing more details about the headphones for those unfamiliar.
Apple first released the Vision Pro in the United States in February, with prices starting at $3,499. The headphones launched in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the UK, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore in June and July. Together with South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, the headphones are now available in 12 countries and regions.
In July, research firm IDC estimated Vision Pro sales would total less than 500,000 units this year. Apple CEO Tim Cook acknowledged in a recent interview that the Vision Pro is not a mass-market product due to its high price.
“At $3,500, this is not a mass-market product,” Cook said. “Right now, it’s an early adopter product. People who want tomorrow’s technology today — that’s who it’s aimed at. Fortunately, there are enough people in that camp that it’s exciting.”
VisionOS 2.2, currently in beta, adds an ultrawide mode to the Mac virtual display feature.
