By selecting the Xcode tab in the ChatGPT application and requesting “Add Missing Planet,” ChatGPT interprets the code and generates a line to represent the Earth in a manner consistent with the existing design.
ChatGPT uses the macOS Accessibility API to read text from applications. Unlike GitHub Copilot, which provides coding help directly in Xcode, ChatGPT does not have such deep integration; it can read and respond to text, but it cannot generate code directly within the application.
