I think Inside the Death Note Killer It was always a bit of a hard sell for me because I honestly never really cared about the two things it was based on. when i first entered death NoteI thought it had a very strong beginning, but it meandered so much in the middle that I got really bored and stopped watching – even though I knew the ending. The same applies to among us– I thought it was a really fun little game of cat and mouse, but to be honest I never really got into it.
but i’m always willing to try anything among us but its death Note A pretty good concept actually. I might have been a little skeptical going in, but honestly it wasn’t a bad little experience, combining some of the interesting intrigue in the series (the first 10 episodes anyway) and among us The iconic “hide in plain sight” gameplay.
Inside the Death Note Killer It’s a fairly simple premise: A team of players take on the roles of Kira and his followers, with Kira trying to kill a certain number of criminals, or L’s, without getting caught by the authorities, while his followers try to help him. The second team is responsible for L’s investigation, with one player taking on the role of L – watching security cameras and sending orders to the team – while the others take on the role of investigators working to uncover Kira’s identity.
It has a really fun vibe that I actually prefer to something similar among us Largely because it references the anime in so many ways. While playing as Kira, players can learn the names of investigators by having followers steal and provide their IDs. If they knew their names, Kira could use the Death Note to kill them and remove them from the game. Likewise, if a player is suspected of being Kira, they may be charged, which will put them in handcuffs and hand them over to the investigator L chooses on the next turn.
Death Note Killer Inside Story It brings a fun cops and robbers vibe that feels more involved, as players need to actively participate in the investigation while still appearing innocent. Things I’ve never really enjoyed among us That’s how anyone who isn’t an impostor has to keep doing their thing and hope not to get killed. Here, however, everyone plays an active role on both ends of the floor, and it’s fascinating to see.
“You’re incentivized to work with everyone, but at the same time, everyone is considered a suspect.”
What’s more, no one really knows who the investigators are and who Kira and his followers are, so the balance between trust and suspicion makes the game very tense. You are incentivized to work with everyone while everyone is considered a suspect. I don’t think it’s completely perfect though, mostly because there aren’t any NPCs to serve as red herrings.
When I think about games like multiplayer Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood or fruit microgames Games and Wariowhat makes these games so fun is that players need to act like NPCs in order to deceive those who are hunting them. However, in Inside the Death Note Killerthere aren’t enough people littering or hanging out on the streets, so players inevitably look suspicious at every turn. This way, it always feels like Kira has the upper hand in the game.
But despite a few minor flaws, I found myself enjoying Inside the Death Note Killer. It has a simple but engaging premise, an interesting aesthetic – I really like that the characters are essentially chess pieces used between real L and Light, and they all have goofy faces – and a very engaging Gameplay. For about $10, you could do a lot worse if you’re a fan of either among us or death Noteyou will definitely have fun with it.
