Apple is introducing a lot of new capabilities to the Photos app this year with iOS 16. There’s a much-welcome new shared iCloud Photo Library feature, a background remover, a photo duplicate tool, and more.
Below we will focus on how to batch edit iPhone photos for a smoother and more efficient experience.
Edit photos on iPhone: How it works in iOS 16

- Running iOS 16, open the Photos app on your iPhone
- choose a picture, Click Edit In the upper right corner
- Make your own adjustments, and Choose Done In the lower right corner
- Now press Three-dot icon In the upper right corner
- Faucet Copy edits
- Choose the back arrow to see all your photos
- Faucet Choose In the upper right corner and choose all the photos you want to paste into the edit
- Click on Three-dot icon In the lower right corner
- Choose Paste edits
Here’s what it’s like to batch edit iPhone photos in iOS 16:
After pasting the edits to the selected photos, you will see a progress indicator appear, and upon completion it will show as “Pasting edits finished” with a check mark.
