Apple’s Photos app is getting a lot of attention with iOS 16, and one of the valuable new features is the ability to edit photos in batch thanks to the new copy and paste editing buttons. Here is how batch editing of iPhone photos works in iOS 16.
Apple is introducing a lot of new capabilities to the Photos app this year with iOS 16. There’s a much-welcome new shared iCloud Photo Library feature, a background remover, a photo duplicate tool, and more.
Below we will focus on how to batch edit iPhone photos for a smoother and more efficient experience.
Edit photos on iPhone: How it works in iOS 16

- Running iOS 16, open the Photos app on your iPhone
- choose a picture, Click Edit In the upper right corner
- Make your own adjustments, and Choose Done In the lower right corner
- Now press Three-dot icon In the upper right corner
- Faucet Copy edits
- Choose the back arrow to see all your photos
- Faucet Choose In the upper right corner and choose all the photos you want to paste into the edit
- Click on Three-dot icon In the lower right corner
- Choose Paste edits

After pasting the edits to the selected photos, you will see a progress indicator appear, and upon completion it will show as “Pasting edits finished” with a check mark.
