The MacBook Air M2 has finally arrived for those who pre-ordered it, at least those who didn’t experience pre-order delays. So far the reception has been very positive, with owners taking to social media and showing off their new laptops in some pretty cool photos.
There are significant differences between the old M1 Macbook Air compared to the new M2 MacBook Air, including the loss of the iconic wedge design, increased screen and keyboard size, and other quality of life changes.
What seems to have impressed new buyers the most are the stunning colors and elegant design of the laptop, which makes it very impressive.

You can see the bigger and brighter screen, and how the M2 is somehow thinner yet still has a nice build. Our comparison between Old M1 vs. New M2 It shows better.
Of course not everyone is just focusing on the outside – there have been posts showing the inner workings of the device as well, including features that Apple didn’t even discuss.

Breaking: Apple’s M2 MacBook Air packs the U1 Ultrawideband chip directly onto the new logic board. Apple has never mentioned this anywhere in the technical specifications, this will be used in Apple’s future Ultrawideband system, which may support lossless audio on AirPods Pro 2. There are criticisms, too, including one where one noted that the charging port was actually scraped after using one, and another who complained that the trackpad didn’t have the same clicking sound as the M1.
The M2 MacBook Air looks even more awesome than I thought! Unfortunately, the new midnight color scratches super easily. This is the USB-C port after literally using one. pic.twitter.com/zG2TssMHrfJuly 15 2022
I’ll say it… The M2 MacBook Air’s trackpad flick isn’t great. pic.twitter.com/45CQTNUfhOJuly 15 2022
But regardless, it seems like a good time for Mac users. You can read full details on our website Apple MacBook Air M2 ReviewWe found the latest model to be a great redesign if not as good as the M1 version.
