QNAP Ultra Silent NAS TS-410E with 4 SSD

QNAP has launched a new ultra-silent Quadrant Network Attached Storage (NAS) solution built specifically for noise-sensitive and audiovisual environments. The new QNAP Dual 2.5GbE NAS TS-410E Powered by a quad-core Intel Celeron J6412 processor that offers burst capabilities of up to 2.6GHz backed by 8GB of RAM which unfortunately is not expandable. Connectivity on a QNAP NAS takes the form of 2x 2.5GbE ports, 4x USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps), 1x 4K HDMI output.

The compact TS-410E suits multiple usage scenarios, including the ability to install upright for increased space efficiency. It has four 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s SSD slots for allocating SSDs to provide high-speed and stable read write performance. Users can Flexibly configure SSD storage to enhance IOPS performance and meet performance requirements.TS-410E also provides hardware accelerated AES-NI encryption to ensure data security without affecting performance.With dual 2.5Gb RJ45 ports, transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps can be achieved by Adjust port connection.

Running the QTS 5.0 smart NAS operating system, the TS-410E supports reliable file storage, sharing, backup, synchronization, and data protection. It can act as a Plex server to stream media files to mobile devices, computers, and TVs for enriching multimedia entertainment. “The TS-410E is ultra-quiet, providing optimal storage for noise-sensitive usage scenarios. Besides, the TS-410E is suitable for extensive, long-term deployment and scaling with long-term support available up to 7 years,” said Jerry Ding, Product Manager at QNAP. “

The integrated Application Center provides installable, on-demand applications to expand the capabilities of the TS-410E application, including HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) for efficient local/remote/cloud backup tasks, Virtualization and Container Terminal for hosting native virtual machines and containers, and QVR Elite subscription-based that can take advantage of the TS-410E’s HDMI output and high-capacity storage to build a smart, budget-friendly video monitoring solution.”
