Samsung officially took the wraps off of its new Galaxy Tab S6 pill on Wednesday morning, verifying the dozens of escapes which had made their way online in the weeks and months before. It is worth noting that this isn’t a into the Galaxy Tab S5e, which Samsung launched six months ago, but rather the provider’s latest tabletcomputer, complete with hardware upgrades and specifications that are top notch.
Speaking of specifications, the base version of the Galaxy Tab S6 ships with a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, along with microSD card support. The new 2019 tablet keeps the exact same 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display of the Tab S4 as well, even though the battery capacity has fallen marginally from 7,300 mAh to 7,040 mAh. The good thing is the Tab S6 is over 10% lighter than its predecessor.
As for its hardware updates, the most instantly apparent shift is the dual-camera system which Samsung has added into the back of the apparatus. Using a field of view, a 5-megapixel Ultra Wide camera has been installed by Samsung Besides some typical 13-megapixel camera.
Those who do will be delighted to see Samsung’s dedication to this niche market, although I’m unsure how many men and women are using their tablets as cameras.
Another manner in the Galaxy Tab S6 is catching up with the Galaxy S lines would be the addition of an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. This is a significant boost for the safety of device, and must be a welcome inclusion this past 34, when it was excised in the Tab S4, for those who missed the fingerprint detector.
These are two of the highlights, but there are plenty of changes for this year’s version worth noting. For instance, the S Pen matches that of the Galaxy Note 9, featuring remote controller attributes that are Bluetooth, wireless charging up to ten hours of battery life, and capabilities of charging after ten minutes. Samsung has improved the keyboard and the DeX desktop software, which now has a touchpad of its own.
Samsung’s Galaxy S10 will soon be on September 6th starting at $649. Preorders will start on August 23rd, and the tablet will come in Mountain Gray, Cloud Blue, and Rose Blush colors.
