When will my Xiaomi phone get Android 13?

It’s only been two days since Google suddenly released Android 13 for Pixel owners. But when will Xiaomi phone owners get the update?

While Android 13 is now available for Pixel devices, it’s only in the coming months that third-party device owners have received promises of an update. This is certainly common, but does not comfort those who prefer to buy phones outside of Mountain View.

Samsung and OnePlus owners can move to their beta, and now Xiaomi is starting the road to Android 13 as well – albeit in a very limited way.

Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro (global ROM) owners can sign up for the limited beta build of the latest MIUI 14 build running on Android 13.

However, there is a problem. Only 200 people can initially sign up with the company to expand the opportunity to more users in the coming weeks. Interested parties can register here.

The Chinese company describes the release as “stable” and says the new beta version of MIUI has been “precisely tuned on every level” to accommodate developments in Android 13.

So we know that Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro will be the first to get Android 13, but what about the rest of the lineup?
