Our Commitment
MIT is committed to providing an environment that is accessible to individuals with disabilities. We invite all to learn about accessibility of digital content, and to report any accessibility barriers or captioning requests in the form link on this page.
Why this Matters
MIT is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities can fully access and participate in the Institute’s programs, services, and activities. Digital content—websites, applications, course materials, documents, videos, and social media—is the means by which much of MIT’s work reaches the world and serves our community. When that content is inaccessible, it creates barriers to participation that are inconsistent with MIT’s values and its legal obligations.
- CREATE: Make all new content accessible from the start.
- FIX: Prioritize remediation of existing content strategically.
- RESPOND: Address reported barriers promptly.
