Supermodel Helena Christensen’s Gothic Naked Dress at the Cannes Film Festival Broke All the Rules

Helena Christensen just broke all the rules in the most fashionable way.

In case you missed it, earlier this week, the supermodel arrived in a daring gown for the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival. See the photos of her at the premiere of Amarga Navidad below:

As you can see, we see her in a shredded-styled black naked dress from Roberto Cavalli, which is truly the perfect mix of daring and gothic. And like we said, it’s quite rule-breaking! Last year, the Cannes Film Festival decreed that, basically, no one could wear any naked dresses or dresses that freed the nipple. Not only has Christensen broken that rule, but so have many, many more!

Now, it’s no secret that the iconic supermodel is a huge body positivity advocate, known for embracing every curve and encouraging people to embrace their confident side.

“Curves should be shown off when you feel like it,” she shared with Harper’s Bazaar, talking about how she believes clothes should be made for “shaping every beautiful curve of a woman.” She also shared what clothes she prefers to show off her curves, adding, “I have a split personality when it comes to style… I prefer my clothes with a little edgy twist. I love geometric lines and dark romantic objects too.”
